would you or wouldn't you?

Would you donate your organs if you knew it would help somebody out? Or would you still keep them? There was an article in the buffalo news about a lady who was blind since birth until recently when somebody donated their organs she got new eyes. She was blind for 65 years and now she has new eyes. Her husband just recently past away and her only regret is that she never got to see her husbands face. Well my time is about up and I wish I could put more up but I gotta go. Oh by the way I wouldn't donate my organs even if they were getting put to good use.

Mary O'Hare on 'War'

"You'll pretend you were men instead of babies, and you'll be played in the movies by Frank Sinatra and John Wayne or some of those other glamorous, war-loving, dirty old men. And war will look just wonderful, so we'll have a lot more of them. And they'll be fought by babies like the babies upstairs" (Slaughter-House-Five, p. 14).

I think Mary O'Hare is right because they enlist guys when they are 18,19,20 yrs. old according to our parents we don't even know what we want yet. War is not to be loved.

Shooting rats at the bibb county dump by David Bottoms

People getting drunk and acting dumb. The guys in the poem go to the dump of all places and decide to shoot rats in the rump. Although the guys must have excellent aim to shoot rats at night and being drunk. To me the rats and the men are the same, in a way. they are both wasting their lives away
